Mission Statements Best
In our experience, we have
seen much confusion over the terms Vision Statement, Mission
Statement, Charter, and the like. We have seen the best
mission statements used as vision statements and the best
vision statements used as mission statements.
Whether it’s the best mission statements or writing
a vision statement that concerns you, suffice it to say
that management and employees in any organization, need
to understand the scope and magnitude your business. So,
regardless of what you call it, the best statement for any
business to have is a broad statement of what you want to
become or achieve over the long term and how you will make
the mission or vision a reality by focusing the attention
of management and the resources of your business. For simplicity
and consistency, we will use the term mission here.
